While we found the hotel lobby nice there is definetly an offensive odor in the hallways. We must have checked in on a bad day. It seemed the manager was having a discussion with an employee in public that should have taken place behind closed doors. We had several encounters with Lana whose "holier than thou" attitude was enough for us to check out and find another hotel. Her entire demeanor was one of superiority and snobbishness. She really needs to learn a better way to interact with her employees. The hotel also has a mold problem. I know Katrina just happened but the stench of mold is overwhelming. A mention of this problem and the algae in the pool went unnoticed by the employees.
