We stayed one night at the JEB House. We were directed there from the Boothbay Chamber of Commerce Information Center when we arrived late on a Sunday afternoon without a room. The Inn is within walking distance to everything, but just beyond the busy crowded areas so that you don't feel like there are tourists in your face. We had a nice waterview room with a large bathroom. The place is immaculate. Sue, the owner, prides herself on the cleanliness of her B&B. Sue's deceased husband was responsible for restoring the Inn, which shows no sign of wear and tear. The breakfast was super filling with homemade bread, muffins, and quiche to compliment the usual full breakfast fare. Alas, Sue is looking to sell the Inn. But until she does, it is a very clean, quite, and well-maintained establishment for a very reasonable $107/night including tax! There are only 3 rooms, but she mostly goes by referral from the info booth and overflow from nearby B&Bs. So chances are good you can reserve a room if you just call.
