With my wife and my son, 7 years old, we stopped one night at the Brown’s Wharf Inn, following the good reviews of a lot of Tripadvisor members. However, with a cost of 204$ for a motel room, without breakfast, we were pretty unsure. All our doubts vanished at our arrival with a very warm welcome of the owner in person. Our room, a deluxe corner room, was very pretty, well furnished and equipped, and had a stunning view from all the windows and the balcony on the harbour and both the yachts and lobstermen boats.
We planned to eat at the restaurant of the hotel but it was closed on Tuesdays. It’s a shame, because the decoration of the restaurant seems pretty cosy. The owner’s wife (I think she was) gave us some advice for dinner, so we went to the Rocktide Inn. The dinner was OK, though I’ve got a personal problem with having to wear a jacket and to shell a lobster at the same time!
At Brown’s Wharf Inn, we had a huge and succulent breakfast on the terrace before leaving. As a conclusion, we had a great time at the Brown’s Wharf Inn, the only negative point was my wife being awaked at 5.00 am by the diesel motor of two fishermen’s boat, but after all, it’s part of the trip.
