The view is fantastic, though expect picnic benches inside and out. The food is ok, and certainly not worth the wait, the expense, and organizational nightmare of the place. Frequently a long line snakes up to the road, where you wait, with nothing but a parking lot view.
Once at the lone window you order, then down to the tables to wait again. The food is nothing to brag about, the bar ordinary beer and wine. I suppose you should not expect much from such a place, though, if you want the same experience organized much better, try the lobster co-ops up the road.

Great food at the Lobster Dock -- my son had the "soon-to-be" famous crab cakes that went up against Bobby Flay in his Throwdown show, and they were fantastic. My wife raved about the hot lobster roll, and my daughter and I actually ordered cheeseburgers -- and they were juicy and delicious! Nothing fancy, just great food and friendly service.

excellent lobster roll...hot with butter mussels the best we have ever had....really loved the quality and the prices were very fair such an amazing wine list....all the other places in boothbay do not come close to this food! hope to return...not to mention the view is the best
