This was our first visit to Boothbay Harbor and it was our favorite. We like to visit when the crowds are gone so Nov. was a bit chilly but just lovely. The Greenleaf was a wonderful choice - excellent breakfast, most enjoyable staff, very comfortable accomodations. The owner was away but we were in VERY capable hands with his staff, and they couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. We had a lovely view of the harbor and in the warmer weather I'm sure sitting on the deck would be most enjoyable. We loved driving around and exploring side roads that lead to amazingly beautiful coves. Some of the restaurants are closed in Nov. but the staff gave us excellent recommendations for dinner both nights. What a great place to end our vacation in Maine.

We love visiting boothbay but had only been there during the peak summer season. It was a nice change to visit the ocean in the winter. It was so quiet and calm...just what we needed. The greenleaf inn was amazing. We were made to feel really special and the breakfast was great!! The room was more than we had hoped for and the bathroom was huge. Great staff..cute dog named metro and super views of the harbor.....looking forward to next winter in Maine. thanks jeff

This is such a GREAT place to stay, Jeff the owner and all his staff go 110% to make you fell at home. This is the best B&B we have ever visited and wonderful rooms with the greatest views. It is one of Maines wonderful places that you have to visit.

I just returned to Atlanta from my fourth business trip to Coastal Maine. The Greenleaf Inn was one of a few B&B's suggested to me via a co-worker who had previously stayed there. Upon reviewing all of the websites of B&B's located in Boothbay Harbor, the Greenleaf's site sent out the most comfortable vibes. As I crossed over the threshold, I was welcomed by the Inn Keeper, Jeff and Metro (the most well-mannered dog you'll ever meet). After our introductions, I was given a tour of the B&B and I felt like I belonged.

Jeff and his staff were very accommodating. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and have great views of the harbor. Shopping and eating establishments are within walking distance. Even in a snowy environment, know that you'll return to a heart-warming fire. And if you are fortunate, maybe the Lucks and the Sweets will be there, enticing you to join them in a verse of "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" or "Danny Boy". The people who stay here are of special character. You will definitely make friends.

I'd recommend this B&B to anyone, during any season of the year. Relax and enjoy.
