Never having been to Maine, we weren't quite sure what to expect of this tiny little town or the Inn. We loved both! The Inn was one of the prettiest I've ever seen. The rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen area was so inviting and the food was yummy! We highly recommend travelers to stop by this little piece of New England and be pampered at this lovely little Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Greenleaf Inn for our anniversary, which happens to fall on Valentine's Day. Our whole experience from the beginning to the final goodbye was great. The Innkeepers were exceptionally helpful when I booked our room. When we pulled into the driveway we got a look at the breathtaking view of Boothbay Harbor as we were greeted by the Innkeepers like we were longtime friends. Our room was perfect. It had a romantic gas fireplace. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with art and candles. It had all the amenities of any hotel. We had access to a library of books and movies which we never used though, because we joined the Innkeepers and 2 other couples in the dining/living room area (lounge). We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful atmosphere. The fireplace was warming us all as we forged new friendships over Valentine's Day treats and singalongs. The lounge was large enough for a great gathering, but had the comfort and coziness which makes you want to snuggle up and never leave. Even though the innkeepers fostered a sense of closeness, my husband and I still felt we had our privacy. It was difficut for us to leave the fun of the Inn for our dinner. The following morning, we were fed a delicious multicourse breakfast. Our goodbyes were like that of great friends. Thanks to the Greenleaf Inn for the best getaway ever.

The Greenleaf Inn at Boothbay Harbor has been our favorite getaway at Christmas time for the last two years. It's bright and beautiful decorations are such a welcoming sight. The village is empty except for locals and while the restaurants have limited hours, we have never had a bad meal in town. Our rooms have always been immaculate; anything we might need was always personally attended to by Don and Marcia. They are beginning to feel like old friends! The breakfasts are spectacular, not to mention the conversation. As a former caterer, I can honestly say that Don could give me a run for my money in the kitchen! :)

We go to Greenleaf Inn to get away from all our worries and obligations. It is the first time we have found a place that truly allows privacy, a little luxury and pampering, and beautiful views of the Harbor. My husband and I love the Greenleaf and would recommend it to anyone!

The Greenleaf Inn is a lovely home with well appointed rooms. The Inn keepers are welcoming and friendly. The daily breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect for getting around the harbor.
