Our stay at the Green Heron Inn was excellent. The room overlooking the lake was lovely with a large ensuite bathroom. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the presentation was spot on. The breakfasts were oustanding, with a very good choice of menu and if none of those suited you could order whatever you wanted. Tea, coffe and cakes available in the afternoons.
The location was very good, you could walk or drive into the centre of the port.
The Inn Keepers, Dan and Toni, were very helpful and friendly. All in all an excellent choice to stay.

Looked at Trip Advisor reviews and spoke directly to the Inn. Was courteously treated and given prompt and helpful information. We
slept better there than at any B and B we have ever stayed at.. the mattresses were firm and comfortable, and the rooms were clean, and not dusty or musty. Tony's breakfast and Dan's service were outstanding- just read the details from other guests. Coffe, tea and homemade scones in the parlour brightened up the afternoon.We bought the Inn's cookbook-just in case we cant get back soon. Nice work Dan and Tony !

We have been on a round trip in the New England states and we stood at different Inn's, hotels and motels. But the accomodation in the Green Heron Inn in Kennebunkport was the best and we have never experienced such incredible breakfast at an "Inn" before. The rooms were so lovely, clean and quiet and furnished very individually so that it was hard to drag ourselves away from this Inn. Another highligt was the very warm wellcome of Dan & Toni; we felt at home from the very first minute until our departure. Thank's again to both guys for their hospitallity.

My 3 friends & I met here for our annual girls' weekend. Everything about the Green Heron was perfect, from the welcoming reception from Dan, one of the owners, to the incredibly delicious breakfasts prepared by Tony, the other owner. Our rooms were comfortable & well-equipped. The inn's setting is very peaceful, overlooking a creek, where we were treated to the sight of a kingfisher diving for fish. It's only a mile from Dock Square, the center of town; far enough away to escape the crowds, but still an easy walk. Dan & Tony are the perfect hosts and made this one of the best weekend getaways we've had in 13 years. This is what a Maine escape should be!
