Our Church purchased a night at the Super 8 in Lewiston, Maine for a traveler on a Bicycle. Upon getting the credit card statement, I saw that I was charged for two night. What we discovered was that the traveller stayed into the afternoon of the next day and was not out in time and the automatic clock charged us for another day. Upon talking to the owner of the Motel, he was very understanding and he went the second mile by refunding one night. He made me a believer in Super 8 at Lewiston. If we have further needs for lodging, this is were we will go.

We are a couple of snow birds heading down south. This was our first stop on a long journey to Florida and it was our first time heading down. The room offered great value and was right off the state turnpike. We struck up a conversation with the manager and told him where we were from and where we were going. We then spent the next hour with him getting amazingly useful information that we used during the remainder of the trip, which saved us time and money. Definitely worth a repeat stay on the way back and on future trips

Stayed at this hotel one night. It was a good stop over place. The room was ok but the bathroom was small. We booked a non smoking room but the smoking rooms were below. The smoke came into the room through the vent in the bathroom. I couldin't go anywhere near the bathroom without the noisy fan on. The towels need to be replaced. Room was clean to a point but needed a good dusting. My husband wrote
please clean me on the base of the pole lamp thats how dusty it was. This motel needs a major reno to replace the worn decore. Staff was friendly. The one really good thing about the motel was the shower. Good water pressure, lots of hot water, and lots of settings on the shower head. This room served the purpose of a quick stopover but I would not stay here again.

The person who checked us in had a very bad body odor problem. Then the room we were given was still being cleaned at 4pm. We were put in another room, only to be moved again 10-15 min. later. The room was NOT clean. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed. The walls looked like someone spilled stuff on it, (or something). It looked gross. The "SuperStart" breakfast was a joke! Not a place we'll go to again. The hotel prices go up and the service and cleanliness go down!!
