We drove up from Boston and stayed at this B&B for a night based on reviews on TripAdvisor and couldn't have been happier! This place is cozy, comfortable, and well-maintained. A parking lot in back makes for easy parking, and the B&B is about a 10-20 minute walk to the Waterfront/Old Port and easily within walking distance of most everything else in the city. David, the innkeeper, was accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Our room (the Back Cove) was super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a big jacuzzi bathtub with accompanying bath salts and a clean and plush bath mat. This place is all about the details! There is a DVD player in each room and a whole bookshelf of DVDs you can watch. Fresh-baked cookies, snacks, teas, coffee, and hot chocolate are available all day in the sitting room, along with books to peruse and board games to play. Each morning a wonderfully hot and scrumptious breakfast awaits! We were super impressed with the amount of high quality food offered to us. David even made sure to have some soy milk on hand per my request. When we arrived, blueberry muffins were baking in the oven. I'm not sure it gets cozier than that. We had an amazing visit to Portland, and this was in large part due to our stay at the Morrill Mansion. Definitely stay here on your next trip to Portland!
