What a lovely place! Very clean, roomy accommodations, comfortable beds, loved sitting on the "front porch" and watching the world go by! Beautiful breakfast room. Owners very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go back..

Reasonable rates. We stayed one night. Comfortable beds, chairs. Nice breakfast provided in the morning. No complaints. Friendly staff. Quaint motel. Don't expect a large chain or resort type setting.

Our group had reserved 2 rooms - a double and a suite; however when we arrived the manager stated that the double somehow had gotten "crossed through" and the motel had no other vacancies that night. She recommended another "comparable" motel nearby - Baits Motel - big mistake.
As we were on the porch and getting ice we ran into another couple and found that they also had a problem with their reservation at Yardarm, so it sounds like a business came in and took up lots of guaranteed payment rooms that some of us tourist/travelers should have had reserved.
The suite smelled very strongly of something like antiseptic. Unfortunately, having driven quite a ways that day, we decided there wasn't much option except to stay and to split our group into the other motel. Not a pleasant night ... we left very early the next morning.
