We were a big group of 12 people who reserved our table weeks in advance. Even making the reservation was tricky, despite multiple efforts.
We had to wait a half hour before receiving our menus, and we had to ask for them. I sent back my glass of wine since it tasted awful, which annoyed the server. He also failed to make sure that everyone was served food. Some did not receive any food, and we had to get up and find someone to bring the food. We asked for a manager and were told, "it takes time!"
I think the group mostly enjoyed the food. However, the server's bad attitude and failure to make sure everyone had what they wanted was awful. We declared that we would not pay the tip, but it was added to the check anyway. So we spent a half hour painstakingly checking that we all paid our food and tax charges but no more. A dessert was sent to the table as a peace offering, but it was too late. We were all afraid of what might be in that dessert after our repeated complaints.
I don't know what has happened to this place. The food and service are usually quite good. Management needs to step up and turn things around. Last night there appeared to be no manager around.
