We arrived late on a Saturday night and found room. This hotel was comparably priced with the Luxury Budget Inn- choose this one! Triple AAA discount accepted.
This was our first stay at a Sheraton Four Points, which apparently has a standard bed and amenities, and I'll say the bed is fabulous. Cushy feather pillows, euro shams, altogether way better than the typical hotel room. But it's really just a nicely appointed older hotel- the hallways are unimpressive, but who cares? I slept great.
Nice toiletries, free bottle of water, coffee machine and wireless internet access are a plus. There appears to be a pool out of the window, and makes for a nice view, as opposed to the parking lot and a car dealership you get with an "outside" room.
The room was quiet. We heard nothing all night, but when I reentered the room this morning, I could hear our tv was on.
I give the staff an A. The maids said hello as I walked by. Upon checkin, the clerk told us there was a basketball team in town and made a point to put us on the other side of the hotel to ensure some quiet. I thought that was good foresight. She also asked if 2nd floor was a problem, because they do not have an elevator. Ask for 1st floor if this is a problem for you.
My main complaint was the tub was slow. Not a problem for a quick shower, but after skiing, I wanted a long hot shower last night and ended up in a bath. Yuck. Maybe the staff was unaware.
For Hagerstown, I think this is a great deal and preferable to the usual budget chain for the same price.
I did not have the breakfast, but it could be delivered to your room. They had a hangtag you could check off like a sushi menu and leave on the outside of your door the night before. Nice, but no thanks.
Will stay at a Sheraton Four Points again and would recommend this to anyone visiting Hagerstown.
