I spent two nights of a business trip here. The lay-out of this hotel is strange, and not all areas are handicapped accessible. The exercise faciility, for example, is in a dungeon-like room down a creepy stairwell. I'm a Starwood Gold member, and enjoyed the room amenities. Restaurant was average. The hotel was quiet at night, and also during the one day when I was working in my room. The clerk at check-out goofed up and billed my room to my credit card; this bill was supposed to go to a local institution, and I was told both at checkin and checkout that it would be no problem. My card was to be billed only for incidentals. When I received the credit card bill, the locals had to straighten it out for me. I don't know why so many hotels have a problem with this sort of billing. It is so common, and the smiling, incompetent clerks so often get it wrong.

We stayed at this hotel only one night as a stop over on a road trip. The rooms looked to have been recently redone and featured the Sheraton Four Comfort Bed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. High speed internet was included in the rate, which is alway nice to have when you are traveling. The breakfast was the only big dissapointment. There were only a few choices, bread to make toast, bagels, cereal, a few pastreis and some fruit. Little was done to make it look appealing. For the price paid I would say it was still well worth it.

Nice hotel, very clean. The staff is curtious, I will give them that. I came to the area to visit Antietam Battlefield, and to be a tourist to the area. I really would probably not be writing this review except for the poor knowledge of whomever raised the state flag and left all others not raised. I may be rusty, but even I know that the the US flag always takes the place of honor. If the Maryland state flag were the only flag as the others ran off, the Maryland flag should not be raised. If the US flag were the only flag and the others ran off, then you may raise it. This was why I chose not to stay past the first day. On leaving for my first day at Antietam, I noticed the mistake on the flag (only the Maryland state flag flying in the center mast, no other flags, and it was past noon [not a mistake]). Anyway, maybe someone in management will correct it. I will not worry more than this; find your respect.

I stayed here on my way to Philadelphia, PA for a convention over the Veteran's Day weekend. The reason for my stay at the Hagerstown Four Points was because of my Starwoods membership and the fact this hotel is just right off I-70 E/W which is very convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and contemporary nothing really to rave about. I thought since Sheraton adds their name on this chain of hotels the Four Points would be a little more spectacular. I was wrong since this hotel had a Days Inn feel and look to it. Nevertheless, I would likely stay here again if in the area since the nightly rates are very reasonable. The only problems I had was a little too much noise out by my door at 7 am. This appears to be a common thing regardless of the hotel I stay in. Furthermore, the front desk failed to tell me the continental breakfast ended at 9 am. This is just ridiculous especially since one member of the wait staff was obviously angry that my waitress sent me up to the bar for breakfast after 9 am. I just about walked out because the one angry waitress gave my waitress an earful. I know . . . just a little childish. Nevertheless, this was a decent place for a one night stay.
