I have been to this restaurant several times and I decided it was about time I wrote a review.
If you like top quality food prepared to order, you will love this place. Bob and the kitchen staff do a fine job of blending seasonal ingredients with a solid base menu. The seafood is fresh and delicious, the steaks are tender and juicy, and the mushroom ravioli is to die for (beware of ordering an entree portion, as it is very, very rich!).
Meg, at the bar will whip up your cocktail of choice, and the wine choices by the glass are better than those offered by many competitors.
I would recommend Backfin Blues to anyone who has an appreiciation of fine food, but does not want to do the jacket & tie thing.
I would also suggest you call ahead for reservations, as it can get very busy.
