My boyfriend and I spent only a single night at the Hungtingfield Creek B&B and had fallen in love with it. Joanne and Jim were excellent inn-keepers! It felt like home soon after we arrived, which made it very difficult to leave the next day. The rooms were beautiful, comforting and colorful. The decor was very European, which makes you feel far away from the pressures of a fast-paced life. Recommendations by Jim and Joanne for wine and food were excellent as well... especially the BBQ pork quesadilla/coleslaw at Java Rock!

The grounds the B&B resides on are extremely peaceful with plenty of places to enjoy a glass of wine or snack, including a hammock and waterfront seating!

The stay at Huntingfield Creek was really relaxing. The owners are very laid back and make it clear that their home is yours for however long you stay. They were very helpful with recommendations for food nearby and how we could best kayak in the bay. (their coffee shop is pretty tasty too!)

Their breakfasts are outstanding. I recommend reading in either the morning or night time in their very comfortable library while winding down or gearing up for the day.

I will definitely go there again.

Ever have those few moments in life when you know you're experiencing perfection -- you know it's not going to last, so you savor the moment? We had such a moment at Huntingfield Creek as we sat on 2 Adirondack chairs on the dock overlooking the bay, watching a kestrel scoop dinner from the water, watching the sun set while drinking a glass of wine, and having our dog with us. Even the pipes supporting the dock sounded like flutes playing.

The owners are warm, friendly and genuinely interesting people. The Inn is beautiful and so well done. The grounds are beautiful and the entire place shows the amount of love and care that has gone into this place. Breakfast was wonderful with great conversation with the owners. And their dogs are an added bonus --- beautiful animals, friendly, and well behaved.

It was a pleasant surprise and I'm glad that we took the time to take the road less traveled and headed to Rock Hall.

What a wonderful way to celebrate a "milestone" birthday! Our family (sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and grand-dogs!) loved it! We all felt welcome and at ease in the beautiful cottages and manor house, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Jim and Joanne are fantastic hosts and the breakfasts were divine....we can't wait to return!
