We just returned from spending 2 nights at Ashely Manor. We really enjoyed it.

Notable things:

1 - The room was beautiful and old fashioned.

2 - We had a fire in our fireplace that was gorgeous.

3 - The bathroom was very modern and the hot tub was excellent.

4 - The breakfast served was fantastic and the owners are very friendly and fun to talk to.

5 - It really has an old-fashioned feel to it - the property, the entire house, etc.

Our room, the Ashley Room, really did feel like a cottage to some degree - i.e. it is built to seem a bit old fashioned so if you are looking for something that feels more like a room inside a house, this room would not be the one for you. (We didn't see the other rooms in the house but there are rooms upstairs and they might have a different feel to them.)

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to spend a long weekend. You definitely need a car though. There are very few places you can walk to from Ashley Manor.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely return! This was our first B&B experience and first trip to the Cape. Vince and Pat are extremely gracious hosts and made our trip very enjoyable and relaxing. We stayed in the Federal room and just loved the charm and decor of it. Upon checking in, we received a tour of the property, along with some historical facts about the home itself. Vince and Pat were more than willing and happy to suggest things to do and see around the Cape, and even more importantly gave us great directions! We had dinner one night at Mattakeese Wharf (per their recommendation) and it was great, although nothing in comparison to Vince's fantastic breakfast in the morning! (the muffin egg cups were our favorite!) So relaxing to sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful yard.
All in all, we really appreciated the hospitality and would love to return again some day!
P.S. prices are extremely reasonable for what you get- homecooking, great location, beautiful property and wonderful hosts!

My wife and I spent 3 days at the Ashely Manor for a wedding, it couldn't have been nicer. The service was great, the food excellent and Pat & Vince were the most gracious hosts. We would go back in a heart beat.

“Fabulous Time, Fabulous Rooms”

We felt like royality at the Ashley Manor. Our room was gorgeous. We stayed in the Canteberry Suite with a working fireplace, warm down comforters, and soft sheets, big jacuzzi tubs and lovely seating areas in the room. We soon forgot that it was raining outside and snuggled in for a relaxing weekend. The owner's, Pat and Vince made the stay even more enjoyable by serving great coffee and a full breakfast (including blueburry muffin tops, my favorite).
We can highly recommend this from our experience!!

“Great weekend getaway!”

I just returned from a night at the Ashley Manor and couldnt have been happier with my last minute decision. Pat and Vince were so friendly and helpful. Our room (King George) was wonderful, with a king size bed, working fireplace and jacuzzi. They had menus available of restaurants in the area to help us decide where to eat. For breakfast we had juice, coffee, mufins, fruit cabobs, and apple cinnamon pancakes with sausage, all delicious! Before we left Pat was kind enough to show us some of the rooms that were vacant. They were all beautiful with their own unique charm. I cant wait to go back and stay in all of the rooms! A great place to get away and relax!
