I absolutely loved this hotel! I am a huge hotel critic and this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a while.

Staff: Was very accommodating and friendly
Beds: Super comfortable and nicely appointed
Room: Was large and nicely furnished. The suite has a great kitchen and everything you need to cook a meal. There is a big flat screen T.V. in the front room with a DVD player. The room and bathroom was very clean. The room has a central air conditioner and smelled so clean and fresh.

I stayed here for a great rate and was highly impressed. Although, we did not eat at any of the restaurants in the area, there were several within a mile or two.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I stayed here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved it.
We drove to the train station and took the red line into Boston which takes about 45 min total time.

We loved the Burlington mall. Burlington was a great location as a central base to go to the White Mountains - 2 hr drive; Newport RI - one hour, Portsmouth NH - 40 min, Salem MA - 25 min.

The room was very clean and spacious. The front desk was very helpful with basic needs. Breakfast was an added benefit - cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, toast, coffee, juice, milk....

I stayed at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites for a week for business. I loved the room and location. Everything was in good condition. The hotel had a full set of amenities and was close to the training facility I was attending. Staff were very attentive and accomodating. They even let me keep my room until 5pm on the day or checkout and didn't charge me extra for that.

Here are my summary +/-'s for the hotel:

+ Location was great. Easy access to the highway and Burlington Mall. Very easy to get to from the airport.

+ Facilities looked great (pool/gym/etc...) but I didnt use them

+ Suite had 2 TV's. One was a flat-panel!

+ Suite was well laid out and really felt just like I had my very own apartment instead of being in a hotel. Kitchen was totally complete and they will pick up any food you request with no delivery charge.

+ Free & Internet service breakfast included in the room rate.

+ Rates were very reasonable compared to other area hotels.

There really is nothing negative I can say about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone for any occasion. I only wish all my other hotel experiences were like this.

“So handy for families, a great stay.”

Hyatt Summerfield Suites Boston/Burlington

8 Jan 2008

Had the two bedroom suite -- one room had a King bed and the second bedroom had two queens for the kids. Fully stocked kitchen (I mean, every kitchen gadget you would need), three TVs & a DVD player, two full bathrooms. Breakfast included & the Manager's Reception during dinner hour really qualifies as a full dinner. Food was pretty good! So was the coffee!

Pros:
Great deal for such a fully loaded suite
Accomodates families perfectly
Very clean
Pretty much includes all your meals (except on weekends, I think?)
Business centre had free computers/internet & printing usage.

Cons:
A tad far out from Boston proper, but we made it work for the money we were saving
Pool was pretty cold
Nothing too exciting nearby, other than the Burlington Mall. Area is very business park-y. No outside play areas or parks for the kids to run about.
Front desk staff could be more friendly & helpful. Check in was a bit of a nightmare, had to wait almost an hour & 1/2 for room, with two grumpy kids who had been in the car for 8 hours...staff didn't care too much about that.

All in all, great stay. Have used a Summerfield Suite hotel since then too, since the setup works fabulously for families.

“Great Suites, Stayed here many times”

Hyatt Summerfield Suites Boston/Burlington

I've stayed at the Summerfield Suites in Burlington 20+ times now and it always satisfies. I'm usually there with my 3 kids, which makes the Trio Suites they offer a great option (Trio suites are a 2-bedroom suite with a King bed in 1 bedroom and 2 doubles in the other bedroom, plus a sofabed in the living room -- making 4 total beds).

Back when this hotel was run by Wyndham, they would provide a lot of "By Request" goodies in the room upon checkin (sodas, candy, cookies, etc). None of that anymore now that Hyatt took over, but it's not a big deal. I also haven't been able to get great deals on the rooms like I did when it was owned by Wyndham.

That said, the checkin staff is always excellent and friendly, the hotel is always clean, and it's a very comfortable space in a great location. The rooms have full kitchens with oven, cooktop, microwave and full-size fridge. Wifi works pretty well (it's a bit slow...) and the heating/cooling systems in the rooms seems to keep everything comfortable. There's one thermostat in the center room, and one of the bedrooms tends to get a bit too hot or to cold, but nothing intolerable.

There is now a new shopping center (Wayside Commons) just down the street (walking distance) with a bunch of stores including LL Bean & Borders and several brand new restaurants (Capital Grille, Fresh City, Not Your Average Joes). It's also just a 5 minute drive to Burlington Mall, and just a couple of minutes from the interstate (128/95). If you have small kids, they'll be happy to hear it's literaly 2 minutes from Chuck-E-Cheeses!

I travel to this area often and always book this Summerfield Suites. I did once try the Summerfield Suites in Woburn and was very sorry I did -- I'll stick with the Burlington one from now on!
