This was our first trip to Cape Cod and we couldn't have picked a better inn to stay at. We had called to book a room for Memorial Day week and Paula recommended room 6, which has a private back yard. We took her word for it and we were glad we did - luckily we had good weather during most of our stay and took full advantage of the two adirondack chairs.
The room had been updated with a fresh paint job, LCD TV, and new Seagrass chairs. Considering the fact that the inn is not far from an intersection with a stoplight, the nights were surprisingly quiet. With plenty of free DVDs to pick from, we took full advantage of the flat screen TV.
The breakfasts were just outstanding with large fruit servings, a variety of main breakfast items, including blueberry French toast, egg soufflé, banana pancakes, coffee, juices, the works. They also supplied free drinks and water in a common refrigerator in the main building - came in very handy on those days we went hiking or walking around town. They also have computer access to those who want to stay up on emails, do research on local hotspots, or just play a few games.
Paula and Tim were very helpful with information about places to go, restaurants to eat at, and other local tidbits. Every suggestion we followed seemed to turn out perfect. If we needed plates and utensils to eat our carry outs in the back yard, they were more than accommodating.
We may very well repeat the trip next year, same time, same place, same room - couldn't have had a better time than we did there.
