The property is well maintained and the host is warm and helpful. The
property is well located within walking distance to Main street, Chatham. Just lovely.

We just returned from a long weekend at the Old Harbor Inn in Chatham, Massachusetts. The location is excellent. You are steps away from downtown Chatham with its many charming shops and restaurants. You can spend a day just browsing this quaint town. "Oyster Pond" ( a small pond for swimming) is just steps away and the ocean a short walk. The Innkeepers, Judy and Ray Braz are gracious and helpful hosts. The breakfasts, which are included, are wonderful and something is baked home made every day for you enjoyment.
The rooms are nicely decorated in beautiful fabrics and are very clean and spacious. Our room had a TV/VCR and a refrigerator (which was stocked with soda and water for our free taking) as well as a love seat, queen anne chair and a king size bed. It was called Port Fortune. The rooms are named after various places in the area. If you are not in the mood for a walk and just want to relax there is a very inviting public living room where you can curl up with a good book and in the winter a roaring fire is going to keep you warm. In the warmer months there is a large deck for you to enjoy. The Innkeepers always have soda, water and snacks available for you to enjoy as well as coffee and hot water for tea. We highly recommend The Old Harbor Inn for its location, cleanliness, friendliness of the Innkeepers, and just a nice over all experience.

I stayed here over thanksgiving for about $100 a night which is a steal! Absolutely fabulous and it felt just like home. The owners would so very nice and helpful for my trip. They also have the softest flannel sheets I have ever slept on. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

There is nothing negative to say about our stay at Old Harbor Inn
whatsoever. The Innkeepers Judy and Ray were friendly and gave us as much advice as we needed, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were very good (especially the home made goodies) also t here was a constant supply of snacks and soft drinks in both our room and the breakfast area. We stayed in a room called Port Fortune, a lovely large and airey room. The Inn itself was a delight, and made you feel that you were visiting with friends. The Inn is situated within walking distance of Chatham (which is a great little town), lots of specialist shops and good restaurants. We have no hesitation in recommending this Inn and would certainly love to re visit some time in the future.
