Just back from our stay at The Old Landing and we had a wonderful time. This is Cape Cod's hidden secret. From the owner, to the cleanliness of the motel, to the accessibility of the beach...everything was outstanding. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the Cape. I would personally like to thank the owner, David Maslin, for his kindness and friendship! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future.

Old Landing offers very clean rooms for about half of the going rate in Cape. It is a no-frills motel, with walking distance to the Sea Street beach. The owner (David Maslin) was very friendly and helpful and gave useful tips about beaches on Cape Cod bay.

We stayed in one of the Ocean View rooms (you can really see Nantucket Sound through the window) and enjoyed our stay. It is not a fancy hotel, but for three nights, it was great. My only complaint is the light in the landing was on until late in the night, making sleep a little difficult. Seemingly this light cannot be controlled by guests. But that was a minor inconvenience and, truth be told, I did not remember to raise this with David.

I would heartily recommend this place to anyone who does not want to pay through their nose to stay in Cape.

My children and I have been staying at the Old Landing for six years in a row now and we absolutely love it. I originally found the Old Landing on the web and living about an hour away, took a drive down to see the place. I met David Maslin, owner and coffee bar extraordinaire, and took a little tour of the property. David is very friendly and knowledgeable and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. I knew this was the place where my children and I would spend a week every summer.

The ocean view rooms are definitely our favorite. While the first floor rooms are very simple and ultra clean with air conditioning (although you rarely need it), the ocean view rooms (four in all) have a cross breeze that is absolutely exhilarating. I found a tranquil place to read, think and breathe. My children and I enjoy our walks to Sundae School (the local ice cream place), dinners at Clancy’s and the newest favorite, Merell’s (next to Barbara’s Bikes on Route 134). The price is also a big hit, especially if you don’t care for the big resort hype. It’s family, it’s friendly and you won’t find a more relaxed setting.

We were looking for a quiet and relaxing get-away that was on a smaller scale and we found that in the Old Landing. Our room was immaculate upon entry and we received the same service everyday. The owner, David, was friendly, knowledgable and just a joy to deal with during our stay. We loved the coffee every morning and the espresso in the afternoon. The beach was just a short walk away and the pool was always refreshing. Our room was on the 2nd flr and we enjoyed the ocean breeze and view --- and its true, there was no need for A/C up there. The older style is what gives this place its charm with just the right amount of modern amenities. I have been to the Cape several times before, spent a lot more money and didn't always receive good service. I have told friends and family all about the Old Landing and would without a doubt return.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this little gem of a hideaway for 4 nights in August. David is a wonderful host who cheerfully provides answers to all your dining and sightseeing questions...and he makes the best cup of cappuccino on the Cape.
This place is right out of 1957...and that's a good thing!
Our room was immaculate and comfortable thanks to Danielle who did an outstanding job of housekeeping. The beach is about 100 paces from your room and the pool is clean and well-maintained.
If you're looking for bells and whistles...go elsewhere and be prepared to get ripped for about 250-300 a night. We enjoyed the retro vibe (and quiet) of the Old Landing at less than half those prices. While most other Dennisport "resorts" are noisy and crowded with huge parking lots, this homey place makes you feel like you're a kid again in the free and easy early 60's. There were some younger (well-behaved) kids here and they all appeared to be having a great time. ..and they loved the beaded necklaces David gave them when they checked out .
We have 3 older children who remained at home , and we wanted a place where we could find peace and quiet for once...and that's exactly what we got.
We will be back again next year.
Check this place out...you'll be glad you did!
