Please don't stay here! The place is very cute and relatively clean and the price is good, but the attitude these people have is terrible which ruins the whole experience. The window to the room (which was at ground level) didn't lock. On two separate occasions I went in the morning to the office to ask to have it fixed. No one ever came out when I rang the bell so I left a note. When I returned from my outing that day, there was a bar wedged in the window. The major hassle is towels. Only two are left daily and am staying here with my three children. When I made the reservation I informed them there'd be 4 of us. Every day I have had to request 2 extra towels and have explained to them how we need them because we are 4. One day the man in the office was outside smoking and talking on his cell phone wehn I went for my towels. He told me where the closet was and instructed me to get them myself. Today I again requested the towels and the owner came out to tell me the problem was mine, that the girls who clean only leave 2 towels because they are trained that way. I asked if I would have to come every day to request the extra towels. She told me that yes, I would have to because I have 2 extra people in the room and she said it in a nasty way. Her attitude has spoiled the stay here. I will never come back and will never recommend this place to anyone unless ownership changes.

Enjoyed the privacy, convenient location and clean rooms. Home cooked breakfast was a nice "perk".

I had read the reviews and one out of four was not positive. I went with it anyhow because the price was reasonable. However, the cloth furniture was dirty. The beadspreads were stained. There were raisins and nuts on the floor and in one of the draws from a prior guest. The walls in the bathroom were stained and none to clean looking. The pool room was not well maintained. There were cleaning and pesticide supplies behind an old bar. The bar itself had moldy siding. There was not an emergency phone available in the pool room. A sign referred guests to the restaurant phone in an emergency, but the door was locked. Front desk staff were not readily available - twice called front desk and got a busy signal, once no one picked up. We were not invited to use the pool and grounds after check out, as we had been at the other motel we stayed at that week. We were happy to get a room for two nights at a low price, but felt the rate should have been lower given the lack of maintenance. This has the potential to be a great place to stay, but needs work and some attention to friendliness to the guest.

Very nice, clean rooms indoor swiming. 5 min from the ocean. Friendly people running this place. I have been here 9 time now and its alway great.
Cant wait to go this year again.
