It was our first time to stay in a cottage in Cape Cod, and we thought we chose the right place. It's location near the Outer Cape really made for a true Cape experience. The cottages are what you can expect---small and cozy and perfectly livable. The knotty pine walls, rustic ceilings, antique furniture with the kitchenette and the high-end queen size beds with comfy sheets made us enjoy the quaintness and felt almost luxurious at the same time. The staff was very approachable and helpful. We enjoyed cooking and eating in, staying in bed till late, and we had a relaxing time, hardly going out more than 10 minutes away. The cottages are along busy Rte 6, so there was some car noise but we were also close to the bike path, groceries, restaurants, ponds, and the ocean. We went canoeing a couple of the four days through Nauset Marsh, which was almost across the road, to a nice quiet beach and had perfect weather. It seemed like we really got a good deal and enjoyed our stay so much---we will definitely go back.
