“Just Wonderful”

CapeWind Waterfront Resort

2 Jun 2008

We have loved every stay at the Capewind in Falmouth and have been coming here for many years; several times a year. The rooms are lovely and always clean, and include just the right amenities. The general manager, Rachel, is so helpful with all of your needs during your stay. All of the staff members are also very friendly and helpful. The hotel close to the center of town but is situated in a secluded location set off of the main road. The spacious grounds overlook the bay and include picnic tables, grills, swings, and a lovely pool. Each room has a beautiful view of the bay and grounds. There is dock situated on the grounds where you can take out paddle boats or a row boat and cruise around the inlet. It is a great place for large families, as well as couples just looking for a romantic getaway. We always recommend the Capewind to friends and family.

“we got married there!”

CapeWind Waterfront Resort

Book it!! Especially if you're getting married!

I had never spend time, really, visting the Cape and didn't know Falmouth at all. But we decided on getting married in Falmouth because it wasn't too far of a drive for our family and friends from Boston. And Cape Wind was perfect. It's location was beautiful, the management and staff were wonderful, creative, and organized, and Falmouth was stunning. My family/friends were determined to return to Cape Wind after our wedding weekend. In fact, everyone asked us to have an anniversary party just so they could have an excuse to stay at the Cape Wind again!

CapeWind Waterfront Resort

we discovered this wonderful motel several years ago and have been coming here for short and long term stays since; several times a year. The previous owners set a standard of hospitality that has only improved with the current owner and manager. improvements in the property and rooms are on-going. The rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. The beautiful pool is newly reconditioned (and toys and flotation devices are allowed). one of my favorite additions is the wooden swings and gazebos around the property. The rooms all have 2 entries - the parking area and the pool side. The rooms are set in a semi-circle overlooking an inlet. It is easy to get to, just off route 28, and close to stores, shops, marinas, ferries, restaurants. But because it is set back from the road it is quiet and secluded. we love to watch the sunrise and feed the ducks and swans from the dock. The beaches are only about a mile away. The staff is wonderful and the general manager Rachel always has recommendations for activities and restaurants. there's even a shuttle that runs to Woods Hole (and it's only $1 each way!). I intend to keep coming back as often as I can. I recommend it to everyone.

“Fabulous time at the Capewind”

We loved our first visit to the Capewind in Falmouth, MA last week. The rooms were clean and lovely, with just the right amenities, and our host Rachel was a joy to work with. The best part was the setting - in a quiet location, separated from a beautiful inlet by a sweet little yard with picnic tables and swings, and pool and some fabulous trees. Our dog had the best time ever, chasing balls through the yard and crashing out in our room afterward. We will certainly make this a regular stop when staying over on the Cape, with or without our four-legged friend - it's well worth it.

“Excellent Home Away from Home”

CapeWind Waterfront Resort

16 Jan 2008

I loved this hotel and the staff were exceptional. I stayed for a week during my Spring break and brought along my dog who was delighted as well. It was wonderful to be able to cook and the kitchen was well-appointed. The grounds were terrific for bird-watching and sun set gazing and the room was very comfortable and accommodating. It was great to be able to watch movies, and the staff offered me a complimentary night because the weather was poor when I visited. I will be back again and again!
