We recently got back from our two week vacation at Cape Cod. Our accommodations for the first week, at the Captain's Quarters in Falmouth was superb. Our suite had a fully equipped kitchen (no oven, only stove top), dining area, livingroom, two full bathrooms and in the bedroom a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi. The large balcony had a great view of the ocean where we could enjoy our breakfast each morning. The sandy beach was just across the road (a 2 minute walk). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Anything our unit didn't have they would supply immediately. The units had just been completely redecorated and had wonderful new mattresses. The resort is three stories and doesn't have an elevator. There are handicap units if you request one. Also, it you tell them you are unable to take your luggage upstairs they will help. The pool and gardens are very well kept. The pool furniture is very comfortable and not what you get at most resorts. There is a great English pub a short block away, which fills up very fast, so get there early. All other restaurants you have to drive to, but we didn't mind. It meant there was less traffic around our resort. Just a 5 minute drive to the ferries to Martha's Vineyard and the Island of Nantucket. This holiday was well worth every penny we spent.
