“Perfect Wedding Reception”

Saratoga Springs, NY

I have visited Falmouth every summer for the past 29 years, and believe me, there are seemingly endless places to stay, and plenty of beautiful places to have a wedding reception.
When it came time to plan our wedding in June of this year, there was only one place we considered; in fact, we knew it would be at the Beach Breeze since that cold, rainy weekend in May of 2004 when we first visited the Inn. Every time we go back the place gets better and better. Don and Walt (the Innkeepers) have a very special place. A place with a view, beautiful grounds and rooms that are immaculately clean, and most importantly, a place with character. The Beach Breeze is a place where you'll feel like you are in a home, not a hotel.
This relaxing, yet classy setting was exactly what we were looking for on our special day.

Don and Walt go the extra mile to make sure every single detail is taken care of. We knew it would be the perfect setting for our wedding reception, not just because of the perfect grounds and backdrop of the Vineyard Sound, but because Don and Walt are true professionals who know what they are doing. They know what matters to a bride who wants her day to be just perfect, and they deliver. Nothing is thrown together or left to chance, there is a game plan for every last element of your wedding day. Despite executing every last item, Don and Walt always have time to chat, help carry a bag, toss you a beach towel, and (most importantly) thoroughly enjoy what they are doing - and that is what makes the difference.

We had about 100 of our friends and family on the lawn for our reception on June 14th, and had the entire Inn booked for the end of the week and weekend leading up to the wedding. I feel like every single person there told us at some point that we had chosen the perfect place for our wedding, and my wife and I just smiled at each other every time we heard it - because we already knew it was.

“My dream wedding”

My husband and I had our wedding at the BBI with 55 guests. My husband is from Falmouth but we now live in California, where I am from. I booked the Inn after speaking with Don but without ever seeing it in person. A risk, but Don was very straight forward about their policies and events so I felt confident. It was the best decision I could have made!! I was a bit worried at first because you need to rent the entire Inn for Friday and Sat nights and that can be pricy. Some of my friends were concerned about cost as well. But by Sunday morning everyone was raving about it and we all felt that it was money well spent. After the reception on the lawn we all hung out on the porch for a nice after party. The location was beautiful, convenient, and comfortable.
Not only did every single guest have the time of their lives at the wedding but my family was treated with such respect and attention that it far surpassed our expectations. We arrived a day early and were welcomed without any problem. Anything we needed was either there or found for us. Don and Walt became surrogate family members for the weekend and helped make my dream wedding a reality.
They are very familiar with all of the wedding vendors on the cape and extremely helpful with the event arrangements. I hired a fantastic weeding planner and they worked very well with her, answering all of our questions and allowing her into the rooms to set up welcome packages for the guests.
Our ceremony took place at a house across the street and the owners had allowed renters in for that weekend without telling them about our wedding. This could have been a bad mix-up but Don went over and spoke with the renters personally to put them at ease. He then proceeded to fix the gate that I was going to walk through for the ceremony because it was stuck closed. And the best part was that I didn't know any of this until it was all said and done. But it was that important to him that I get what I was hoping for.
I cannot express enough how wonderful it was to have a wedding here. My husband and I constantly talk about it and want to do it all over again. Needless to say, we love Don and Walt and we hope to be back with our own kids in a few years.

while the outside of the inn is beautiful we stayed at the apartment
E2, We had a odor in our room that caused asthma problems with three out of four in our family. We do not use inhaler often maybe twice a year. They have NO air conditioning and offered to give us an extra floor fan. When we checked out 5 days early because of the problem. The owner would not give my husband anything in writing that we left. They already have our $625.00 deposit (NON-refundable) thats O>K> but not to continue to charge us an additional $746.24 for extra income. I will blog again on the outcome . We have stayed in the past at Daniel Websters Inn that is very nice. we changed to Holiday Inn in Hyannis. We had a loft room and we had to cut our stay short because they are booked and for good reason!
the cape is beautiful we saw many whales on a boat cruise, seals by the national seashore...enjoy the cape but find someplace with beds you can sleep .

Falmouth’s Beach Breeze Inn provided an awesome setting for our son’s June 2008, Cape Cod wedding. It wasn’t just that our families and friends had this sweet Inn all to ourselves; it wasn’t just the breathtaking location and beautiful grounds; it wasn’t just the comfortable, well appointed and immaculate rooms. The compelling feature was that all these attributes were augmented by Don and Walt’s astonishing attention to detail and gracious skillful monitoring and guidance of the ebb and flow of the weekend’s events. They provided excellent advice and counsel during planning, and with enthusiasm addressed last minute changes (during serving of the wedding dinner, my wife chose a DIFFERENT song for her impending dance with our son; the DJ didn’t have it; Don & Walt quickly found it on the internet, burned a CD and got it to the DJ just in time – “no problem!”). That’s just an example of how guests are consistently treated at the Beach Breeze. It is a quite special one-of-a-kind place that far out performed our very high anticipation.
Our son told us he wanted his wedding to be different. He wanted it to be a wedding where his friends and family could relax and have a good time in a very unique setting... a time they would always remember as more special than any other weddings they had been to, and the Beach Breeze Inn surly was that special place. The entire time we were there was magical!

“Wonderful Stay for Memorial Day Weekend”

Beach Breeze Inn

6 Jun 2008

My husband & I wanted to go to The Cape for Memorial Day Weekend, so I did some research & called around (esp b/c we were booking only 1 week in advance!)

I called the Beach Breeze Inn after seeing their website. They had availability for all 3 nights, and Walter & Don were terrific with answering my questions & booking reservations over the phone.

When we arrived on Friday night, Walt greeted us and recommended a great seafood restaurant for dinner that night.
We stayed in Room #9 and it was very spacious - Queen size bed, 2 chairs, a mini-fridge, dresser & tv... We had our own bathroom - also spacious (except for the shower which was a little small) but over all really nice. Very clean & comfortable...

They had a pool out back (but it was not heated) so the water was too cold to go in as it was only late May... It was a very close walk to the beach & to Main Street where there were plenty of great restaurants & shops.

Overall, we were very comfortable. Plenty of privacy for a romantic weekend - but Walt was always available to recommend places to eat & where to catch the Ferry for Martha's Vinyard (just a 35min ferry ride from Falmouth).

We had a great weekend away & I would definitely go back and stay again in future.
