While gathering family geneology in Glocester, I wandered into the Crow's Nest. I sat down at the bar a little nervously because I was a single woman in a strange place. At first, it did not seem a place for a retired school teacher. The locals did their best to make me welcome, and I had a fun evening. They entertained me with stories of the town and the fishing industry. Everyone was very polite and friendly. I left after an hour and a half with pleasant memories.
