Went to Boston, Cape Anne, and the "other" cape (Cod) over Thanksgiving week. Were originally going to stay one night at Babson Court but loved it so much we stayed two. We didn't want to leave but had a Thanksgiving dinner with friends and relatives at the "other" cape, so we had to move on. Great location on the waterfront, only a short walk to downtown and the fishing docks, etc. Paul the proprieter was most gracious, nice, funny and had all kinds of stories about the history of the Inn (built in the 1700's I believe).
The house is filled with antiques, eclectic art and it seems every piece has a great story behind it. Also, the Inn can be divided up in different ways to accomodate different sizes of families. There's even a secret passageway or two!
I can't say enough good things about the Inn at Babson Court. I discovered it on TripAdvisor and will definitely be back next time I'm passing through Gloucester. Maybe by then I'll be able to pronounce the muffin bunny's name correctly!
