If you're a history buff or looking for something different this is a treasure. Of course the bathrooms aren't "ensuite" in an authentic 18th century house. This is the real thing, not just an oldish house gussied-up with motel features inside, as many B&Bs are. The proprietor is a bona fide historian too, so she really knows what she's talking about and has created a restoration that achieves a very fine balance between historical accuracy and modern comforts. Very special.
