I decided to order a pizza from Fish Tails recently. My friend and I picked out a pizza that had three topping on the entire pizza, another two toppings on half, and a different two toppings on the other half. I'm not sure how pizza places generally charge for that, but in my mind you should still be charged for 5 toppings. If not, then 7 toppings. Fish Tails, on the other hand decided to charge us $25 for that pizza. Normally a 5 topping pizza is $15, and each extra topping is $1.50. Even if we were charged for 7 toppings, the pizza shouldn't have been more than $18. So why exactly did we get charged another $7?
When I went to pick up our food, it wasn't yet ready. I waited about ten minutes, and when it was finally all set the bartender cashed me out. I asked why the pizza was so expensive and he impatiently told me he didn't know as he didn't take the order. I asked him if he could check, because there's no way our pizza should cost $25. He told me he'd give me $3, but since we were charged $7-$10 too much, I asked again if he could please see what we were being charged so much for. He saw that the person who had taken our order had charged us twice for the toppings we had on the entire pizza and agreed to give me $10 off the order because he "didn't really care" and had a lot of other things to do. I thanked him, but was told that I should've just asked while I was on the phone with the girl who took the order.
When I got home I found that one of the toppings we ordered was nowhere on the pizza at all and another topping was on the entire pizza even though it should've only been on half. And somehow, despite ordering a good amount of different toppings, they were pretty scarce on the pizza as a whole. It was frustrating, and had I paid almost $30 for it I would've been livid. We also ordered a chopped salad, which was in no way chopped. It was also covered olives, which we had asked to have it without, and they didn't give us our dressing.
All in all, a poor experience.
