I must say the value here is unbeatable anywhere in Hyannis and I certainly do appreciate that. The people who run the Best Value Inn are nice, hardworking individuals. They will treat you with the same respect you give them. More than often, you will see the staff interacting and having good laughs with their guests.

The property itself is a bit older but the place is clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Almost all of the guests were out of town, all being couples or families. I met a nice couple from Montreal one day and a funny guy from Baltimore the other night.

We stayed on the ground floor and were close to both pools. The indoor pool was huge and best of all, it was HEATED. It felt like a big jacuzzi. After a long day of running around to places in the Cape, I went to soak in the indoor pool at night. The outdoor pool was a bit colder but who cares, it was near 90 degrees the days we were there. The water at both pools were blue, clear, and clean-looking. That was a big plus because it kept the kids entertained.

The room itself was VERY clean. The housekeeping staff did a great job on keeping the room tidy during our stay. There were two beds in the room, fridg, microwave, and a big TV. It was nothing fancy but very comfortable and suitable for our needs. The bathroom floor seemed to have new tiling.

In the morning, there was breakfast from 8am - 10am. My only complaint is that they should start the breakfast earlier. It was a bit crowded when the breakfast room opened but started to die down later on. Fresh bagels, donuts, waffles, and juice/coffee were served. There was also bananas and eggs too. One of the better continental breakfasts I have seen.

All in all, I recommend this place. If you're looking for a fun and clean place to stay, then you've already found it at the Best Value Inn in Cape Cod, Massachusetts!!

We stayed in the hotel for three days on September 20th through the 23rd. We chose this hotel because we found it through Trip Advisor and wanted to be centrally located on Cape Cod. It is also a short walk from the ferry to Nantucket so we did not need to pay for parking or worry about our car while we visited there for a day. The
motel is not new and is not tastfully decorated; however it was clean
and comfortable. We were only on the Cape for three days and wanted a
place to sleep and shower. We were basically out of the motel around 8:00 in the morning and did not return until the evening. They do have an outdoor pool that looked fine and an indoor pool that was very nice. The continental breakfast was basic and the room only had a few tables so we had to wait each morning to use it. As others have
mentioned, it does not open until 8:00 am and that is after the ferry
leaves. We liked the location of this motel because one day we went north and the other day we went west and did not have to drive from one end of the cape to the other. The bathroom did not have a fan and fogged up when the shower was running so we had to open the window. The shower in our room was wonderful, however. It was great to get it in after a long day of adventuring on the Cape. There was no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries but there was a wooden window
sill to use. Also, I found it very inconvenient that there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The motel should furnish extension
cords as I could not use my hair dryer unless I used it in the main room. I asked for a hair dryer and the desk provided one along with a
ironing board and iron. There is a refrigerator in the room and a convenience store within a few blocks. Also, the pillows are long and
flat and odd shaped. The staff gave us extra regular pillows which were appreciated. The staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful.
We felt safe in the neighborhood. This is a great place to stay for convenience and we saved money to spend on other things. If you will be on the go and just need the basics, this place will fit the bill perfectly.

Oh my..I am actually not that picky and chose this motel for a one night stay while at a conference at another hotel. The price was decent (I got the room for $51), the bed was comfortable enough and there were no funky smells in the room. Having said that...there were numerous - not just one or 2- hairs from someone else in the bathroom. There's no vent in the bathroom, so I had to open the window which gave clear view to those on the road and in the warehouse next store, no iron and no hot water....well ok, after turning on the shower for literally 10 minutes, I finally had hot water. That was almost the deal-breaker for me. A fair amount of mold in the tub, though that actually doesn't bother me too much since I think we are too obssessed with cleanliness... Finally, no electrical outlets in the bathroom and doors that didn't seem to lock too well. It is in a pretty good location though - a short walk to the main attractions on Main Street. All said, I would not stay there again.

This place is great if you are looking for a clean, safe hotel that is in a location that is walking distance to both ferries and town. The staff was very helpful in suggesting sites and explaining the different ferry services. The place was well maintained and quiet during the 2 days spent in Hyannis. I will return for future visits. The free Internet was also a bonus.

For a great restaurant on Main Street try the Thai house (304 Main).
