Would not recommended this hotel to anyone. Was looking for a decent, comfortable stay whilst visting UMASS and personally had a terrible experience. The rooms are not terribly clean, the smell of smoke is overwhelming - even if you are a smoker and the staff was just blah about everything. I'm not looking to be treated as a guest at the Ritz, but the basics - clean room, comfy bed and warm breakfast would have been nice. I'll probably try somewhere else when I come back.

This place has the smoking rooms right next to the non-smoking.
The smell is a cross between skunk, stale cigarettes and b.o.
There was a big party in the back end of the motel the second night.
We weren't sure we would be able to access our room walking through the gauntlet of drunks.
There were fights breaking out, slamming doors and music blaring through out the whole floor.
When we left at 6am there was a CD player skipping on a heavy metal song at full volume.

I walked in and put (3) rooms on hold at 6 PM and told the front desk not to book them as I wouldn't be able to take them until later that night. She told me it would not be a problem, I signed nothing and was to call her later that night. I called and cancelled the rooms at 8:59PM. Two (2) days later three charges of $98.68, totalling $296.04 appeared on my card from them. They refuse to take the charges off, and I am in arbitration with them still. Very untrustworthy and had horrible treatment by their staff!

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel offers high speed internet in each room as well as a computer in the lobby for use by guests. The only thing I dislike is the fact that smoking rooms are down the hall from non smoking so you can't escape the smell of smoke no matter where you are. The staff could use some hospitality lessons but they weren't rude. I've stayed here twice and its been comfortable both times.
