This hotel was a great price and in the great Oak Bluffs location of Martha's Vineyard. I figure that the price was significantly cheaper than other hotels in the area because Nashua House did not provide breakfast and also did not have private bathrooms. I stayed in Room 1, and it was great because it had an ocean view and access to the conjoining balcony. Also, room 1 only had to share a bathroom with one other room, so it was not inconvenient. The room was clean, complimentary refreshments in the room, but the stairs are very steep so consider this if bringing large suitcases. Note that the innkeeper does not stay at the inn, so when you enter you will have to call her cell phone and wait for her to arrive. Its a great location within Martha's Vineyard as well, in between Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. Within the town of Oak Bluffs it is within walking distance of Ocean Park for beautiful sunrises, main street shops, Gingerbread Houses, and right next to the Off Shore Ale House...which I would highly recommend for good food, fun times, and live jazz on Tuesdays. If you have never been to the island, it is definitely worth bringing your car because the public transportation (especially off season) is very touch and go.
