This is the second year we have stayed here for softball tournaments. The only hotel in the area where the sleeping area is a seperate room from the living area. Rooms are clean and good size, food at the restuarant is good, washer & dryer available. Restauants in the area that deliver if you want a different type of food.

We booked this hotel because our friends wedding was there, but after the service and the staff, we may come every year.From our first call to reservations, we were made to feel like freinds and not just a guest. We were not put though to a central reservations line, but to a managers line. But We had to leave a message, and I thought "ok, they don't want my buiness" but within the half hour the manager had called us back to take the reservation. She sound so enthused that I just had to be excited about the trip. As we walked through the door we were greeted with smiling faces and a big "Welcome to Holiday Inn" But the property is old, and does show it's age,the people that work there more than make up for the age of the property. The indoor pool was wonderful, but the tiles around the pool a little to slippery. There is no were in the hotel to get lunch which was another downer but the staff know were to direct us for a good lunch. All in all this hotel has a great staff, but needs to do the old girls makeup again.

This is my worst Holiday Inn experience ever (& I'm usually a fan of Holiday Inns for non luxury travel). The staff were either clueless or just plain rude, some were both. My advice is don't go there - find another place there are plenty nearby. The non smoking rooms reek of smoke, the stench kept me up all night. They also charged me for things & wont refund it. I only stayed one night but was seriously tempted to go back out into the snow and go somewhere else! Give it a miss.

I stay in several Holiday Inns over the course of a year for a combined 40+ nights.

I like the Holiday Inn chain but this location is a stinker for one primary reason - HORRIBLE SERVICE.

As Platinum Elite member I get treated like a stray dog coming in from the street. No upgrades - ever. A confrontational attitude whenever there is anything out of order. Inconsistent rooms. Service without a smile. And so on.

And this poor service has been consistent. I've stayed at this location multiple times this year but NEVER AGAIN.

After over 75 nights in various Holiday Inns this is the first and only place I have ever complained about.

STAY AWAY.
