My wife & I visited the Museum on Monday 6/6. We had already strolled to the east end of P-town along Commercial Street and had popped into several excellent art galleries. The Museum came highly recommended, so we visited.
The Museum was divided into a number of beautiful, well-lit exhibit spaces with provocative art. The pieces were given ample space to be individually appreciated.
We found the sculptures to be particularly to our liking, but the paintings not so much. However, that's a matter of our personal preferences. The paintings tended to be highly abstract, modern works which were generally outside our sphere of appreciation.
We nevertheless enjoyed visiting the Museum.
