“Wonderful get-away at Carpe Diem”

Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa

I took my fiance for a birthday get-away out to P-town and stayed at the wonderful and cozy Carpe Diem. We are both fans of B&B's and this one did not disappoint. The decor and furnishing are lovely, modern but comfortable and elegant. The outdoor Zen garden area is so tranquil with the multiple water features they have set up and is a lovely place to just sit and read. All of the staff, including Herbie, Jurgen and Rainer were so nice and amicable and very helpful in answering our questions. Breakfast was good, not great compared to some other B&Bs we've stayed at, but the food was home-made and hearty. I wish they had some more hot stuff for breakfast. Definitely take a chance to use their spa (steam room, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi). It was rainy and chilly for a couple days while we were there and using the spa was a great way to spend some time in the morning. Location was very convenient, a block away from the reknown Commercial St. Wonderful B&B and would highly recommend.

I had to take a few minutes to write about the incredible experience I just had at the Carpe Diem Guesthouse in Provincetown, MA.

First of all, hats off to one of the most professional staffs I have ever come in contact with in the hospitality industry, anywhere.

I work in the hospitality industry and serve on a Board of Directors for my local Visitor's Bureau and I have never been made to feel more at home and more welcomed than I did at Carpe Diem.

Herbie, Jarrod and Flavio were outstanding representatives for the owners and should be commended.

As far as the accomodations: Out of this world works best here.

Incredibly well done rooms with private terraces and one of the nicest spa's I have ever seen in a property of this size.

If anyone is planning a trip to Provincetown and wants to stay in a place where relaxation and comfort are part of the daily ritual, Carpe Diem is the place.

My boyfriend and I planned to come to Cape Cod for a day or two.
We ended up staying 4 days. What can I say? Jurgen, Rainier and Hans make you feel you never want to leave.
Can I elaborate on that without using an abundance of clichés like '' the place is lovely, the atmosphere warm, relaxed and fun''? Probably not.
So just go there and experience it!
You can see lots of whales, (boattrips sail from Provincetown), have great meals (the innkeepers will tell you where to go) relax in the spa and hottub that are at the inn, join the other guests for wine and cheese in the afternoon or in the night for drinks in one of the many bars in town.
Provincetown is a gay little town in many ways and the Carpe Diem the gayest guesthouse you've ever been to. ;-) JUST GO!

Once again a superb stay at this absolutely delightful guesthouse. From the moment we arrive here at Carpe Diem the stress of everyday life melts away. The innkeepers and staff, though thoroughly professional, manage to create one of the most welcoming and friendly atmospheres that we have experienced in our travels. The elegant rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and the outside space is simply serene. The generous and delicious breakfast each morning is a welcome addition. I truly cannot suggest a nicer property than Carpe Diem to spend time in this special town.

Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa

My boyfriend and I stayed at Carpe Diem in early May, in serious need of a weekend away. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed with the gracious and helpful staff (Rainer, Jurgen, Hans and Jared). I especially loved the European flavor of the guesthouse, and Jurgin's amazing Belgian waffles. Our room was lovely, and we loved having access to the sauna and whirlpool on such a rainy weekend. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you again!
