I had been stressed out at work for weeks and decided that a long weekend at the Cape was just what the doctor ordered. I searched the web for a place in PTown. Carpe Diem's site caught my eye because of their on site spa.
The proprietors couldn't have been more helpful, as they answered all of my questions, as well as making sure that I knew what to expect when I got there and even sent me tips about things to do for my weekend away.
That same attention to my needs was evident in every moment of my stay.
The food was spectacular, the staff superb and the amenities wonderful relaxing.
I will be back.

We can not say enough good things about the Carpe Diem. This was our second stay for me and my partner and the degree of service remains impeccable. Ranier, Jurgen, Hans, Jarrod, and Herbie do everything to make your stay enjoyable. They work hard to obtain your dinner reservations, spa appointments, show tickets, etc. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious. The new spa is extremely well done. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and kept neat and clean daily. We will consider staying no where else when in Provincetown.

A fabulous guesthouse! Impeccably clean. Gorgeous courtyard, extremely attentive staff and friendly guests! Jurgen's breakfasts are not to be missed! Great stay!!

My husband and I came for the second time to Carpe Diem. We were frazzled and worn out. Within minutes of arriving we began to feel better, calmer, and more relaxed. We had booked massages with Mark at the Namaste Spa (on site) for the day after our arrival. They were wonderful! Relaxing, invigorating, and tailored to our individual needs. The new steam room is beautiful, and a peaceful place to de-stress. Jurgen, Ranier, Hans, Herbie, and Jarrod are all perfect hosts -- the ideal balance between interested, friendly, and un-intrusive.
Breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful. The location is perfect -- close in, but enough off of Commercial Street to be quiet. We will be back!

If you want to have a Four Seasons level of service and staff that make you feel special, stay at Carpe Diem. We don't go to many hotels anymore where you meet everyone and become friends with the staff. We arrived as guests and left as friends with everyone we met. It is such a great B&B and the breakfasts and coffee are to die for. My girlfriend and I both agreed that Matt at the Spa gave us the best massages we ever experienced. We wished we could have stayed longer then 4 days and will definitely come back.
This is one of those little gems you look back years later and have very fond memories of visiting. It made the trip extra special for our visit. Having traveled 3 million air-miles and stayed in hundreds upon hundreds of places, this one is in our top 10 list!!!.
We can't wait to visit again!!!
