We spent only one night at the guest house but it was so nice we would love to go back soon. The house is lovely, with beautiful furniture and decor. The owners are very nice and we had a great time with the other guests for wine and cheese. Breakfast is to die for, delicious bagels, ham and cheese, omelette served at a family table. It was like spending vacation with family at a summer house!
Our room was cozy with a cute little bathroom, bathed in sunlight in the morning.
Next time, we will try the spa!

The Carpe Diem Guest House is indeed a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation and food are perfect and the hosts most welcoming. We had a pleasant vacation in late October but weren't prepared for the envelope on the pillow the night before we checked out.

We're Brits and freely admit that the concept of tipping substantially is not something we are used to, but during our travels in the USA we left 15%-20% with waitresses and bar staff whenever we had a nice meal or a drink. In the UK a tip of 10% is considered generous. At the end of your stay, Carpe Diem presents guests with a "request" for gratuities (separate from your hotel bill), specifying the sum payable. We were on a budget and Carpe Diem was our special anniversary treat - we'd not normally be able to afford to stay somewhere quite so swish, but we saved up for it to celebrate 10 years together. The "recommended" gratuity was actually more than we had remaining in our holiday fund. Enjoy your break, but be aware that this item of expensive stationery will appear on your pillow shortly before you leave. All of those little "favors", like Herbie booking a restaurant table for you come at a cost . . .

"Carpe Diem" is beautifully stylish and comfortable and provided a perfect backdrop for part of our honeymoon. The Guesthouse is charming and full of character and breakfast served in the beautiful breakfast room was delicious as well as plentiful.

The extra amenities like the steam-room and sauna are also welcome additions and made up for an even more relaxing stay.

Jared and Hans should get a special mention for being particularly helpful and welcoming throughout .

I must admit we felt the welcome from other members of staff was maybe not as warm as we had experienced in previous Inns and B&Bs and we felt that there was certain bias towards Gay people or German people in the warmth department. Not unfriendly as such , but more indifferent shall we say.

Provincetown is a lovely place with beautiful Art Galleries and some wonderful shops and Carpe Diem being located so close to town means it is incredibly convenient too.

Room was incredibly clean and well appointed. Customer service beyond any five star hotel. Staff was incredibly personable and always looking to improve our experience. Breakfasts were nothing short of gourmet.
