Innkeepers Pat & Len have done a remarkable job in refurbishing this 1800's era historical home. New construction makes the place feel large, bright and airy, but with no loss to it's old world charm. Upscale amenities such as flat-screen tv's, full cable, wi-fi and bathroom fixtures means no loss to much more expensive resort hotel alternatives. Location is quite but easily accessable to both the Mid-Cape (6) and 6A in West Barnstable off of 149.
Pat and Len are wonderful, personable hosts and provided an incredible specialty breakfast each morning. The tea and brownies at night are a real treat too! Whether you are a golfer, antique hunter, fall color observer, or just curious about the Cape, I can't recommend a better place to stay.
Beds were queen-size large and comfortable and each suite has it's own private entrance and bath. Like any B&B, space was a little cramped, but larger than most. Our hosts went out of their way to accomodate our needs and requests.
I hate to let the secret out, but this is, by far, one of the best values on the Cape, especially if you look for upscale, quality accomodations and don't have young children in tow.
