“Bed and breakfast at its best!”

It was the last stop on our trip through the US and Canada and we could not have chosen a better way to finish our holiday.
We were so warmly welcomed by the Innkeepers Pat and Len, we have never experienced this before. The outside of the house is just gorgeous and our room was so beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to the detail. The room was neat and totally quiet, the air conditioning was silent and very comfortable and we even had a flat screen TV. It was definitely the nicest room we have ever stayed in in a hotel. We absolutely loved the many different colors in the house. Pat and Len were very helpful and gave great recommendations for the best restaurants and beaches. They even provided us with beach chairs and towels. And last but not least...the breakfast was more than delicious...we loved the French Toast. We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone travelling on Cape Cod and if we have the chance we would also love to come back. Thanks Pat and Len for this remarkable experience.

“Delightful Maple Street Inn”

The Maple Street Inn

15 Sep 2007

I have just returned home to Phoenix, Arizona and wanted to share my wonderful time at the Maple Street Inn, in W.Barnstable on Cape Cod. I would recommend this Inn whole heartly to one and all. The Inn is a restored and lovely decorated warm welcoming home. I had a chance not only to sleep in the most comfortable bed and lovely decorated room, but also to see the other rooms, escorted by the warm and humorous owners and hosts, Pat and Lenny. In the mornings it was so nice to look out across the large back yard, through the trees and see the glistening pond. The table setting for breakfast (a full, delicious breakfast), was so special, it would be so easy to get spoiled.
This by far is the BEST BARGAIN. Jacquie T.

“The Marvellous Maple Street Inn”

We have recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Maple Street Inn.

The Maple Street Inn is definately the place to stay if you want a guest house with a little bit extra in gorgeous tranquill settings. The place has been beautifully restored and decorated and is located only a 5 minute drive from Barnstable and a 15 minute drive from Hyannis.

We stayed in the Beach Rose room in the main house that had a grand four poster bed and ensuite bathroom with free standing bath. The room was immaculate.

Each morning we were served with a 3 course gourmet breakfast which was delicious and always varied. The hosts Len & Pat were fantastic, they gave us ideas and suggestions on where to go and were very forthcoming.

The extra touches we liked were the complimentary glass of wine in the afternoon and the home-baked cookies and cakes left out for us in the evenings.

Whilst in Barnstable we would definatley recommend the whale watching. This was a wonderful day out and we saw over 30 whales. A truly unforgettable experience.

Thanks Len and Pat for a lovely stay - keep up the good work, and hopefully we will get the chance to come back and stay at the Maple Street Inn again someday.

P.S Thanks for the postcard!

“Great place to stay!”

The Maple Street Inn

We had a great time at the Maple Street Inn! The owners were very helpful and considerate and were not at all intrusive. They were very warm and welcoming from the start and couldn't have been better hosts. Our room (the Holly Room) was beautiful and very comfortable. The owners had taken so much care to attend to every detail of the room. The breakfasts were really well prepared and delicious and we appreciated their flexibility in timing. On our way out, we asked to see the other rooms which were also incredibly beautiful. If anything, the website pictures do not do justice to the rooms. They are MUCH more spectacular in reality. The surroundings were really peaceful and relaxing, although there is a lot to do nearby in terms of nice beaches, restaurants, and neighboring towns. I've stayed at quite a few B and Bs and this was by far the best experience I've had! We will definitely go back!

“Great Historic Home. New innkeepers.”

We were referred here by another inn that could only offer us one night. The inn is a newly renovated home listed on the National Historic Register. It is beautiful with a gorgeous patio/deck out back. We chose the Holly room because it opened to the deck. It also has a private entrance so you don't have to go through the house to get to it. The location is very quiet and sits above a pond, just two minutes from 6A. They plan to cut the brush so the view to the pond will be better. Our room was tiny but comfortable. Probably not good for the "big and tall" set. The bathroom was very small but so clean and new I think we were the first to use it! My husband felt a bit cramped. My husband was able to catch the last few minutes of the Red Sox on the flat screen TV. Lost to the Yankees, alas... The cook had a few problems getting our breakfast on the table but once the problems were ironed out, the French toast was delicious. Fresh squeezed juice. Fresh fruit. Yummy homemade granola and all the fresh coffee we could drink. The owners, Pat and Len are very friendly and happy to offer suggestions for dining and things to see and do. We ate at the Roadhouse in Hyannis. Wonderful! We also saw a play at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis. Fun.
