After reading all of the reviews for area budget hotels, I decided on Super 8 because they were the only one without a negative review. Most of them were described as "roach motels" or rundown. The rooms at this Super 8 have been newly renovated and everything was super clean. The front desk staff, maids and groundskeeper were all very pleasant. The continental breakfast was ok, but what do you want for free? We bring the kids to this area every year for a couple of days at Six Flags, and will definitely stay at this hotel next year. There is no elevator, so request the first floor if stairs are a problem for you.

I stayed with some friends at the Super 8 for two nights while attending the big railway show in town. The beds were comfortable and the washroom was clean and functional. We heard a bit of noise through the ceilings. The hotel is set back from the highway behind a restaurant, so there was no road noise. The front desk staff were pleasant and professional. The continental breakfast was nothing special (cereal, bread, waffles, donuts, fruit, english muffins) but adequate. The hotel seems recently renovated and we would stay here again without question.
