We stayed there back in '96 and 11 years later, not much has changed. Room style is of late 80s but I've been in places that look like they're from the 50s, so that's not too shabby... First thing I noticed upon stepping in was one of the entry door's glass had tape all over it, as if they were too cheap to repair it. Floors a little creaky. Our room faced the rear parking lot which was perfect for us - much quieter! Checkin/out was easy -they make you sign something though stating you won't smoke or be subject to a $150 fee, because all rooms are non-smoking (horray!)
In a nutshell:
Pros - location, convenience to seagull beach, Dunkin Donuts, and everything else, cleanliness, affordable place to stay Mid-Cape, TV cable selection
Cons - beds were hard, A/C converted to "automatic"/energy saver was a little tricky, no wifi/internet, calls 25c + .05c/minute if you did want to dial up, tiny bathroom
I'd give the place at least a 4 if the beds were comfortable, but since most of our time is spent sleeping in a motel room, it's one of the most important qualities! Might stay there again but also willing to see what else is out there that we haven't tried.
