I heard of Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes through HOUR Detroit Magazine and suggested to my husband we check it out before going to the Auto Show (NAIAS) on a Friday evening.
We arrived shortly before the dinnertime hour. A few couples were dining in the exterior room and about four, pleasant employees behind the counter. There was no line, however, a long menu board of crepe choices was in front of us... one side sweet, one side savory. We sampled the Melissa and Sarah crepes with a chai and a cappucino on the side. Very good and very filling! There are so many choices that we said we would be back to try a few others next time.
This place has been open in Midtown Detroit for about a year. Lots more shops and eateries are opening up here. I'm not sure if the owners here are waiting on something, but the interior could use some help. Floor boards between rooms need fixing. Paint touch ups on the walls. A more welcoming front entrance. Parisian music playing in the background would be a nicer touch (instead of hard rock, which I didn't mind). The bistro style furniture was nice as well as the old-time movie posters. Just didn't feel very Parisian in there, which I think it should be to get the whole "experience".
