I travel a lot and expect to find a place that I can get a restful sleep and a friendly environment. My first visit was a 9 day stay. During this time, it was great. On the 10th day, I went back home and came back 4 days later for another 9 day stay. During the first few days of this trip, I asked how to set the alarm clock. I also asked if they could put an air freshener in the room as it had an odor and that the tv kept coming on without me turning it on. On the third day, I was going to the continental breakfast (which was good) and made a comment at the desk. I said I hope the person that is in the room above me is not there tonight explaining to her that someone kept on pacing back and forth and I heard them. She immediately got upset and said to me "I can not tell you that, it is confidential. I explained to her that I did not want to know who it was, but just wished they would not be there. At that time the manager came out of her office and said to me " Is there anything that can make you happy. I thought she was kidding but then it got worse. She said to me we had to show you how to set the alarm clock, put a freshener in your room and now noise above you". I asked for a different room but there were not any available (I did try to make reservations at another hotel but they were all booked too). The next day they told me there was another room available, but I might hear the band playing in the lounge. I told them no thanks. I would recommend this hotel for a few nights, but not a long stay. The hardest thing for me was that this was the manager talking to me, not a desk clerk. I will never stay at this hotel again.
.I would recomment staying on the 2nd floor. But everyone has their own preference.

We are pleased that your first stay with us was great and that you enjoyed our continential breakfast. I apologize that your next experience was anything less than satisfying. Our goal is to meet and exceed your expectations so as to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Throughout the course of your stay with us, the front desk staff tried to accomodate all of your requests, and we feel that we did so in a friendly and efficient mannor. We immediately deodorized your room when you requested an air freshner. I and my desk clerk assisted you in setting your alarm clock along with backup wakeup calls and we looked in to why your television might have been turning on automatically. Although we strive to create a welcoming enviroment at our hotel, we do have certain policies to ensure guest and employee safety. For example we do not divulge any information reguarding another guest's reservation. Upon hearing that the noise above you was affecting your stay, we offered to move you to a second floor room but you declined. We encourage our guests to call the desk immediately for any and all concerns. I am sorry that your stay was anything less than excellent, but I assumed that after you came back to the desk to apologize, that everthing was to your satisfaction. We accomodated your request for billing purposes to check you out and back in and at that time we offered to switch you to another location which you again declined. We had upgraded you to a jacuzzi room at the original price for your entire stay. I apologize if I came across as having an attitude. I think we did our very best to make you comfortable. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience during your stay and hope to see you during your next visit.
