The Historic German Fort in is the middle of the Namutoni resort. Impossible to miss it. Ther is a lot of wildlfe in the surrounding including the lions. Actually, this is the best place to stay of lions.

We stayed in a room inside the fort. Fabulous stay ! There is no private bathroom and the common ones are very clean. As far as I know, all rooms have double beds.

For sundowner, I recommand to go up the tower for watching a wonderful sunset over the Africa. If you are lucky, you will see the wildlife at the waterhole during sunset.

The restaurant serves a good buffet with a lot of different foot including game food for 110N$ (cheap).

I highly recommand to reserve the room accomodation if you want to stay in the fort.

The bungalow out of the room are not attractive. The swimming pool is pleasant.

We will stay again !
