We were the last visitors to Le Chevrefeuille, in the third week of October 2008. Ian and Sara were trying to prepare for a holiday for themselves in Spain, but they gave us every attention to meet our needs. They are perfect hosts, and once we have scrounged together some money (given the world's current fiscal situation, and my ever-diminishing share holding value), we would stay there again...(only sans garcon)!!!
We visited many fascinating places in the area, most amazing were the caves with their prehistoric "paintings". The market at Saint-Cyprien was great, and visiting the various local chateaux was a highlight.
It was so refreshing to be able to take walks in the area knowing that a cosy gite was there to welcome and embrace us at the end of each walk. The history of the area is spellbinding!
The facilities offered by Le Chevrefeuille/Ian and Sara we found second to none compared to other places we have stayed at in two four-week trips to France(the first 3 years ago)..I sincerelu wish that we had found Le Chevrefeuille 3 years ago!
We wish Sara and Ian every success in their ongoing running of the hotel, and hope that custom flourishes in years to come...I can safely say, "I'll be back"!!
