This was a great B & B, although I will freely admit it's the first one I've ever stayed at. A friend and myself decided to get away for a weeknight, and this was a reasonable distance from our homes. We stayed in the most expensive suite in the house, a beautiful Colonial-Revival style home, and were treated to a king-size bed, separate sitting room with daybed, and a two-person Jacuzzi. The beds were very comfortable,
and the house was spotless. The innkeepers provided homemade ginger cookies on a plate outside our door for a snack, which we ate and giggled like schoolchildren at four in the morning.
Like many B & Bs, this place had a parlor and a library to read in or enjoy a movie, but the one outstanding feature here was the dayspa on the third floor. After a marvelous dinner at Wiederholt's, a venerable supper club ten short minutes away, we returned to partake of massages by an excellent massage therapist.
The breakfast next morning was also wonderful, as was our chat with Rachel, one of the owners. She (and her helper, who I'm sorry name escapes me) were very accomodating, delightful people. We really enjoyed our time here, as well as the town of Cannon Falls which has, among other things, many antique shops and beautiful scenery. I would stay here again in a New York Minute. :-)
