“One of the Nicest Hamptons Anywhere”

I am a Diamond Member with Hilton, and I travel about 40 weeks a year.. always staying in Hampton Inns. When I booked this one I was a little bit shocked as the price seemed a little high compared to other hamptons ( I paid 150.00 a night AAA rate ) but once I checked in, the price no longer mattered. It is by far one of the nicest Hamptons I have ever stayed at. The rooms were clean, the lobby was beautiful, the carpets were clean, and a nice fresh design not seen in any other hampton before. The new furniture, roll out desk and the large flat screen was perfect. Bathroom was nice as well. The sportsbar next door had really good food, and they deliver to your room!
Location was great. 5 miles from airport and about 6 from mall of america. abuot 20 miles from downtown minneapolis.
If you have a choice, then choose this Hampton for sure! You will be glad you did.

“Agree with posts .. Greatest Hampton I've Visited”

Hampton Inn Minneapolis/Eagan

This is a wonderful property! As mentioned in previous posts, the rooms are wonderful and larger sized than most Hampton Inns. The rolling desk, plasma tv, and wood furnishing make this room great.

As a HHonors Diamond member, I'm always upgraded to the king whirlpool room. This room even has two tvs, the large screen and a smaller tv on a wall mount that can be viewed from the whirlpool.

I don't think you can find a nicer room for the price in this area. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting the Minneapolis area.

“Nicest Hampton in the world?”

I've stayed at dozens of Hampton Inns across the country, they are my hotel of choice. I travel 80% of the time, so we are talking an insane amount of travel.

I have stayed at the Eagan Hampton a few times over the last 3 years, and I have to say the newly remodeled Inn is fantastic. The rooms were very nicely appointed with great desk on wheels to make for easy repositioning. The HD flat screen was awesome.

Only downside is the fact it is very popular and hard to get a room.

If this isn't the nicest Hampton Inn in the world, it has got to be pretty close!

We had the perfect mid-priced hotel experience at the Hampton Inn Eagan. The hotel has a great location. It's near MSP Airport, the Mall of America, and downtown St Paul, although you'd never know it -- it's off a quiet lane at a relatively low-traffic interchange. Lots of great restaurants are right down the road.

Inside, the hotel has been beautifully renovated from top to bottom. The hallways are quiet, even though we were there on a weekend with lots of families with kids. The staff are helpful and the public areas are mellow and relaxing (although lite rock muzak can be a bit much). As for the rooms, they are really on par with many four-star hotels. Great work area, a magnificent (if a bit small) bathroom with perfect water pressure, and best of all, the most comfortable beds ever, piled high with fluffy pillows. And, to top it off, a high-definition plasma TV with dozens of channels.

Breakfast was above expectations, with all the usual Continental items plus biscuits, sausage patties and fried eggs. The Hampton Inn Blend coffee was a highlight.

Many expensive, full-service hotels couldn't match this property's cozy rooms and breakfast. We had a good night's sleep and a trouble free stay. For $99, who could ask for more?

I stayed three days in May 07 attending a conference. My stay was very enjoyable and I recommend this hotel highly.
Hotel's location is convenient off of a highway, the rooms are newly refurbished with flat screen TVs and new beds. Common areas are pleasant and clean.
Internet access is complimentary and reasonably fast and reliable. Free continental breakfast is good and convenient.
The staff is very friendly, especially the front desk.
I did not use the indoor pool but it looked great. They have a free exercise room.
Location is convenient to the airport and the downtown. Also to the huge Mall of America.
You will not regret staying here.
