This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you are under 25. Nighttime activity across the street lasts until 2am with college kids all having a great time. There are 4 bars all from view of the front door, on a summer evening the kids are out enjoying the warm weather. Nothing foul or offensive, which made for an enjoyable experience.
The Hotel will pick you up at the Light Rail, which is right in front of the Metrodome, do NOT get off one stop earlier and walk to the hotel, especially at night. There could not be a worse area to walk through.
The hotel shuttle service is always available to take you to the MetroDome, Nicollet Mall, or the University.
The bed was comfortable, room clean, and there was a great view of the Metrodome from my 12th floor room.
The walk to the hotel from the Metrodome after a Twins game or at 12:00 at night isn't bad either. On the walk, stop by the Bar Maxwell's located on Washington St. Maxwell's offered great beer specials on Friday nights! Good food and good times.
A word about Minneapolis. The city is very spread out and if you do not have a car and want a cab, expect to pay $20. Every place we went it seemed like the cab was $20. Take advantage of the Light Rail and the hotels shuttle.
