I spent five days at the Radisson at the recommendation of my client in Minneapolis. I spend a lot of times at hotels and found the Radisson to be sub-par for a business traveler.
The room was large with a new, comfortable bed. The bedding was bright and appealing, but the rest of the room was decorated in very dark, old curtains, paint, and carpet. The bathroom was also large, but the drains in the sink and the shower were slow and they were not fixed during the five days I was there. I heard noise from the plumbing and the adjoining room next door but note that it did not interupt my sleep.
The Applebee's next door provides breakfast for the hotel, but they do not make cooked-to-order eggs: it's really just a set of buffet choices (though they may make pancakes to order; I am not sure). I found that convenient.
They advertise shuttle service within five miles of the hotel, but by the time I arrived at the hotel, the shuttle had been reserved in the mornings and I needed to take cabs to my work site. The shuttle was obtainable returning from the work site.
Service was friendly. All the staff were warm and welcoming, even as they denied me shuttle service or yes'ed me about having the drains fixed.
In any case, the stay was OK. Nothing special. The hotel did not feel like a full service hotel, and could really use a decor upgrade.
