Very nice stay for two nights. Great rates for a very good hotel. Room was very spacious with a large bathroom. Bed was excellent. Service at the hotel was excellent. Easy drive to downtown Minneapolis. Would stay again.

I'm a travel agent and my family visited the Minneapolis area to attend the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. This hotel is actually 20 minutes or so from where the Festival is, but we stayed here because I got an unbeatable travel agent rate.

Until we were getting ready to check out, I was all set to give this hotel a great review.

It is a very nice hotel. The lobby is beautiful an the the pool and hot tub are really nice.

The rooms are really nice, especially the beds which have big fluffy pillows and nice down comforters.

It's what we found under the bed when we were checking out that makes me have to mark this resort down just a notch for it's housekeeping.

We had our children with us, and for those of you that have children you know their things get everywhere. So we looked under the beds before we left to make sure we had everything.

What we found was a couple of unopened packages of condoms and an empty package of male enhancement pills.

Obviously the housekeeper hadn't cleaned under the bed between when the previous guest checked out and we checked in.

It just adds a bit of a sour note to an otherwise nice hotel stay.

It's still a nice hotel though, and I'd still recomend it to my clients. Judging from the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel, I'm willing to believe that this was just an oversight on the part of the housekeeper.

We recently went to the Twin cities for a 3 night stay using Starwood Points. I have stayed at many Sheraton hotels over the years and this one ranks right up near the top for value. It is a great place to stay with the family. It is in a good location right beside a shopping mall and in a nice, safe area of town. Very easy to get to the Mall of America and to downtown Minneapolis. Both are several miles away, but still very easy to get to since the hotel is right at the intersection of I394 and I494. Excellent breakfast buffet. Probably the fastest Check-in I've ever experienced and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. Rooms are in good shape and clean; same for the lobby. Nice pool and hot tub too. We noticed one evening that we were missing our coffee pot and they promptly brought a replacement to us and rewarded us with 500 Starwood points. This hotel is what Sheraton is all about. A truly class act. I rarely stay with anyone else.
